Seventy-six years before Mark Zuckerberg was even born, the original Scout Law appeared in Baden-Powell’s Scouting for Boys.

No need for a new set of 12, though. Turns out those words — which the BSA adapted and adopted in 1911 — still apply as 2013 nears.

That’s why the Boy Scouts of America just released a new pledge called “The Scout Law and Cybersafety/Cyberbullying” to be signed by a Scout, his/her parent, and a leader.

        The Boy Scouts of the Philippines had been an institution that serves for the development of the boys in their social, emotional and leadership aspect. The movement caters to the different needs of its members and trains them to be the next abiding citizen of our country. The Court of Honor of Bohol Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines was convened once again last August 18, 2012 in order to recognize the achievements of its scouts who had contributed well to the development of the community and who had attained the Eagle Scout Rank. The Court of Honor was held in the walls of Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School.


 
What is survival?

        What does the word survival mean to you? Struggling in the wilderness or living for days in an open sea? That is partly correct but for scouting, it has other definition. Survival means knowing how to stay alive in the wilderness, which may not be so encouraging but it means a lot for a scout. Survival Camps prepare them for whatever emergency situation that he/she will faced throughout his/her life.
